Association for the Promotion of Christian Education (APCE)

The CTABC and the SCSBC have entered into a "partnership" relationship with the APCE. This association of schools serves three Christian schools in the Province of Limpopo of South Africa.

Our Executive Director and two CTABC teachers were in Limpopo Province from March 6 to Apil 2, 2009 and worked alongside the Principals of the schools in teacher professional development

Gondolikhethwa Christian School is a K-12 school with over 600 students.

Tshikevha Christian School is a K-12 school with over 900 students

Vision Christian Schools is a K-12 school with over 500 students.

Teachers interested in teaching opportunities are asked to contact the CTABC Office.

The CTABC Executive Director is planning another trip for March 2011. Teachers interested in this opportunity should let the CTABC office know what the expectations would be.

Peter Van Huizen, Executive Director of the CTABC, has developed a partnership relationship with a number of Christian Schools in Limpopo Province, South Africa. He is able to work closely with area Principals to arrange ways in which CTABC teachers can experience education among the Venda where Christian Education is taking root.

In this picture Peter Van Huizen is planning a teachers conference with Principals' David Tshishivhiri and Thevha Ratshibuvmo.

Laurel Vlieg, Art teacher at Langley Christian, gives a workshop in Visual Art to teachers in Limpopo Province in South Africa. She was able to get release from her school for two weeks and combined with a two week March break, spent a quality time at Gondolikhethwa Christian School and a week of Professional development workshops.
