  • Committed to on-going professional development; reflective in their teaching practice; open to trying new teaching strategies and curriculum; and supportive of the formative and summative evaluations promoted by CTABC-SCSBC schools.

  • Team players that work with a variety of educators that include Special Education Assistants, Teachers, Counsellors, Librarians, Principals, and Pre-school teachers.

  • Global thinkers and communicators who network with Public Education Bodies such as BC College of Teachers, Ministry of Education, Independent School Branch, Universities, Colleges of Education and other National and International Educational Bodies.
 
 

 

 

 The main focus for the CTABC for 2010-2011 will be to re-work the Teacher Qualifications and Professional Development  Policies. These changes will affect teacher contracts, salaries, and a teacher's professional development plan.
